The makeup brand purina has long been known for its organic and cruelty-free products, but it’s also been making a name for itself with products for women who want to keep up with trends.
The brand has been making its products at Amazon for years, but Purina launched its own fulfillment service, AmazonFresh, in March.
The company has been expanding its products in recent years, launching its new products in April and selling the items at Whole Foods in June.
The cosmetics brand has long struggled to keep pace with the rising popularity of online retailers such as AmazonFresh and Whole Foods, which have started shipping its products to customers’ homes.
AmazonFresh has been particularly popular with women who are buying beauty products online, with more than a quarter of women saying they’d like to buy cosmetics on AmazonFresh in 2017.
The brands’ recent moves are an attempt to capitalize on women’s growing online shopping habits.
Amazon is hoping to tap into the growing popularity of its beauty products with the AmazonFresh product line.
The lines are designed to combine Amazon’s popular and affordable AmazonFresh platform with the beauty brands’ existing stores.
In 2017, the beauty and personal care lines earned more than $2 billion in sales, according to research firm Nielsen.
AmazonFresh is available at more than 1,000 of Purina’s stores in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom, including stores in Seattle, Washington, Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Chicago-Lake Forest, Boston, Denver, Detroit, New Orleans, San Francisco, Philadelphia-Camden and Boston-Newark.
Purina said its AmazonFresh stores are “compelling” and “providing a great alternative for people who have a passion for the beauty world.”
The company also announced a partnership with the popular makeup and fragrance company Wet n Wild, which has over 2 million customers worldwide, to offer a line of fragrances that are also available through AmazonFresh.
The companies also recently launched a collaboration with AmazonFresh to offer an AmazonFresh-branded collection of products.
Purina is making its Amazon Fresh products available in the U.S. on the company’s own distribution channels, such as through the Amazon Prime store, Amazon.com and Amazon.ca.
A spokeswoman for Purina didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.
