A Kenra employee is claiming she has been harassed and discriminated against since the company bought her company.
According to a lawsuit filed by the woman, Kenra employees told her she would be fired if she told them she had a son.
Kenra spokesperson Michelle Smith said in an email that the company does not comment on pending litigation.
The lawsuit was filed Monday in U.S. District Court in Detroit.
The lawsuit accuses Kenra of racial discrimination and unlawful employment practices.
The suit seeks unspecified damages and an injunction to prohibit Kenra from discriminating against employees based on their marital status.
