Subway is getting ready to roll out a line of “premium frozen chicken” in Japan, the company said on Monday.
The line will launch in Japan later this month, and will cost about 20% less than other frozen chicken options, according to the company.
It will also come with more varieties of meat, including chicken, beef and pork, according the company’s website.
This is the latest effort from Subway to launch a line, and the first one of its kind in the world.
The company launched a line in the U.S. a year ago.
But while the line is still in its early stages, the chain is already seeing success with its popular chicken products in the region.
The company has also been experimenting with frozen chicken in its other markets in Asia, including Korea, Taiwan and China.
