The German manufacturer says its production line cards, which will give manufacturers and distributors a clearer idea of how much is being made on their lines, are now available.
The cards are designed to allow the production company to show them to suppliers in the same way a customer would.
Volkswagen says its products are produced at the factory in Düsseldorf, Germany, and that the card will be available on the company’s website.

“This card will provide a clear picture of our production line.
We want to show the market that we are committed to manufacturing the best cars in the world, and this will be a way to do so,” he said.
VW said it will begin to sell the card on the internet in the coming weeks, and will also be rolling out a free app that will help consumers make better choices with their vehicles.
The company will be rolling the new card out in the US, Canada and Europe, but it won’t be available everywhere.
In a statement to Business Insider, Volkswagen said it was still “learning” about the product.
“It’s a great time to get the product into the hands of the public,” the spokesman said.
